Crossing Stones and WildGirl

Started Crossing Stones at Mom's house, ordered it from my own library system when I got home. Can't wait to get lost in it...want to finish WildGirl by Patricia Reilly Giff first. Wow, can she write children's POV! That frustration, not wanting to be treated like a baby---all that emotion is right there from the first page. I had to keep wiping my eyes to get on with the story---I gotta stop reading in public! Can you imagine that there are people in the world who don't cry over books? I'm not sure they're anyone I'd want to spend time with...
